Vanessa was born and raised in Corpus Christi and has called Austin home for 4 years now. She graduated from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi with a degree in Kinesiology. With clinical and administrative backgrounds in the healthcare and early childcare industries, she genuinely enjoys creating a positive environment for patients and their families. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children, and three dogs, listening to music and podcasts, and indoor cycling.

Nichol Esparza
Marketing + Assistant Clinic Administrator
Nichol escaped the rain and made her way to Austin by way of Seattle, WA. in 2016. She is a proud online communications student at Washington State University (Go Cougs!), holds an associate's degree from Skagit Valley College, as well as a certificate of interior design from the Art Institute of Seattle. Nichol has worn many professional hats and brings over 15 years of experience in office administration, early childhood education, and various creative industries to our admin team. In 2019 she harnessed her creative energy by turning her love of design and flower arranging into a small business where she creates custom floral arrangements for friends, local customers, and special events. Also, in her spare time, she can be found exploring the many restaurants and live music venues that Austin has to offer.

Shelly Cobb
Operations Manager
Shelly moved to Austin from East Texas in 1997 when she attended the University of Texas at Austin. She obtained a Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree and has experience working in a variety of healthcare settings that include hospitals, clinics, outpatient surgery, and remote work. Shelly comes to Big Sky with many years of experience in prior authorization, specifically with Texas Medicaid. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, friends and family, listening to live music, going to the lake, and exploring all that Austin has to offer.
